What began on the cobbled streets of Paris has blossomed into a global love letter to music and this June 21st, that love lands right in the heart of Mbabane.
Fête de la Musique 2025 is tuning up for an unforgettable day at Alliance Française, promising a sonic journey that transcends genres, and generations.
This year’s theme, ‘A Journey Through Musical Genres’, is more than a concept, it’s a celebration of the kaleidoscope of sound that shapes our world.
From the electrifying pulses of electronics to the timeless grace of classical, the rhythm of jazz to the fire of hip-hop, audiences are invited to traverse cultures through the universal language of music.
Opening the stage is the genre-bending maestro himself, DJ Stickx. Renowned for his seamless fusion of Afrobeat, Amapiano, and Kwaito, Stickx will create a movement. Expect the crowd to sway, stomp, and spin into the night.
In a lineup steeped in excellence, Sarnilo’s name hums right in with the vocal velvet of Erykah Badu, the lyrical wisdom of Lauryn Hill, and the sonic vision of Msaki.
She delivers more than a performance she offers an experience. Her blend of afro-soul, R&B, and neo-soul is as raw as it is refined. Get ready to feel every note.
Rounding out the lineup is Amarii, a sonic storyteller whose music drips with honesty.
Drawing from life, love, and mental health, Amarii blends hip-hop, rap, and R&B into a sound that’s both contemporary and classic. Fans of J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar will find a new favorite in him.
