The Standard set to return for its second edition

The second edition of  'The Standard'  is set to return after a first gathering that brought together unmarried young people in Manzini for a day centred on purity, obedience, and the Word.

The inaugural event, hosted at The George Hotel, featured a programme designed for open engagement among young people aged 18 and above.

In this session included a panel discussion, a Q&A segment, live music, and a featured segment titled 'SoloNdumi love story'  shared by Solomon and Ndumi Zikalala.

Attendees were given space to engage on topics relating to identity, purpose, and personal values, with discussions framed around biblical teachings and practical life application.

In a social media reflection following the event, founder Solomon Zikalala expressed gratitude for the turnout and support.

"Family we are speechless for what the Lord did for us yesterday. A simple yes to God’s prompting has given birth to a new platform for our generation to be built and equipped for their divine destinies. Young people filled the room with excitement and hunger for God’s Word and Jesus was portrayed before them as The Standard," said Zikalala in his statement.

He further said they thank God for the team that helped  execute the event with excellence, he appreciated the sponsors that came through to partner with them,

" We thank the musicians that also responded to our request, we appreciate our guests speakers for allowing God to use them and we thank everyone that came to the event! TO GOD BE THE GLORY," he said.

Meanwhile the upcoming second edition has been confirmed, with further details expected to be shared ahead of the next gathering.
